GB 17267 – Chinese National Standard for Wooden Fire Doors
Issued by: Standardization Administration of China (SAC)
GB 17267 is the Chinese national standard for wooden and wood-composite fire doors. It specifies requirements for timber species and quality, engineered wood components, fire-resistant core materials, veneers and laminates, hardware, assembly methods, and fire performance testing.
Wooden fire doors manufactured and tested to this standard achieve FD30 (A0.50) or FD60 (A1.00) fire resistance ratings. Testing is conducted at the same accredited laboratories as steel door testing, using the same GB/T 7633 test method.

CE Marking – EN 16034 / CPR
Issued under: European Construction Products Regulation (CPR)
EN 16034:2014 is the harmonised European product standard for fire-resisting and smoke-control doorsets. CE marking under the CPR is mandatory for timber fire doors placed on the EU / EEA market, supported by a Declaration of Performance (DoP).
Fire resistance is classified to EN 13501-2, based on test evidence to EN 1634-1. Our CE-marked timber fire doors achieve E30 / E60 / EI₂30 / EI₂60, with smoke control ratings Sa / S₂₀₀ available.

BS 476-22 – UK National Fire Test Standard
Issued by: British Standards Institution (BSI)
BS 476: Part 22 is the long-established UK standard for fire resistance testing of non-loadbearing elements, including timber fire doorsets. It remains widely referenced in UK Building Regulations and Approved Document B.
Our timber fire doors are tested and classified by integrity performance in minutes, achieving FD30 / FD60 / FD90 / FD120 ratings. Where smoke control is required, FD30s / FD60s designations are available to BS 476-31.1.

BS EN 1634-1 – European Fire Resistance Test Standard
Issued by: European Committee for Standardization (CEN)
BS EN 1634-1 is the harmonised European test method for fire resistance of complete door assemblies, including timber fire doorsets. It is the test basis for both CE marking (EU) and UKCA marking (Great Britain).
Doors are tested as full doorsets — leaf, frame, intumescent seals and hardware — and classified to EN 13501-2 as E30 / E60 / EI₂30 / EI₂60 / EI₂90. Smoke control performance Sa / S₂₀₀ is tested separately to BS EN 1634-3.

ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
Issued by: Accredited ISO Certification Body
Hongli Firedoor’s manufacturing facility is certified to ISO 9001:2015 – the international standard for quality management systems. The certificate covers the design, manufacture, inspection, and supply of fire-rated door assemblies and hardware.
ISO 9001 certification means our processes for raw material inspection, in-process quality control, finished product inspection, document control, and customer complaint handling all comply with internationally recognised best practice. The QMS is audited annually by an accredited third-party certification body.
For buyers conducting supplier qualification, we can provide a copy of the current ISO 9001 certificate and the scope of certification on request.
Certifications FAQ
Can Hongli Firedoor provide fire test reports for building approval submissions?
Yes. We provide the full fire test report (conducted at an accredited National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre to GB/T 7633, or at a European Notified Body to EN 1634-1) for any product in our range. These reports are accepted by Chinese and international building approval authorities. Contact us with the product specification and we will send the relevant report.
Are Hongli fire doors accepted by local building authorities in my country?
In most cases, yes – provided the fire door meets the locally required standard. Our CE-marked doors are accepted across the EU/EEA. In the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and many other markets, GB-certified or CE-certified / BS-certified fire doors are accepted for building permits. If you are unsure whether our certification meets your local code, contact us with your country and the applicable building standard reference and we will advise.
Can you arrange third-party pre-shipment inspection?
Yes. We work with SGS and other accredited agencies. Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) verifies product quantity, quality, dimensions, and compliance with the purchase order before container loading. PSI can be included in your order at additional cost – please request this when placing your enquiry.
Do your certifications cover the complete door assembly including hardware?
Yes. Fire door certifications under both GB standards and EN 16034 cover the complete door assembly – leaf, frame, hinges, door closer, smoke seals, and lock. The hardware specified in our test reports must be used to maintain the assembly’s fire rating. We supply all hardware as part of our tested assembly, and can advise on replacement hardware for maintenance.
Need Certification Documents for Your Project?
We can provide fire test reports, CE Declarations of Performance, ISO 9001 certificates, and product data sheets within one business day. Contact us with your product specification.
